Before and After

Noel after his new hair cut this morning! Thanks for helping me decide -for those of you who took part in the poll. I put a sheet down in the living room, put a chair down and a pillow down for me to kneel on and put a Thomas the Tank Engine movie on for him. He did pretty well, but still had a hard time keeping still and keeping his hands out of it. I found this video to help me. I just followed the directions and I think it turned out pretty well. Luckily, Noel has a little bit of forgiving curl in his hair.

Noel last week-end. His hair was still cute - just a little messy and always in knots.

Now it's a little more cleaned up.

Before: cute

After: Still cute... just a little shorter

Birthday week-end

On Saturday, I began my 36th year... err... I mean my 30th again... yeah... that's better.

Some good friends of ours watched the kiddos Friday night so that we could go to a movie. We saw Alice in Wonderland in 3-D. I highly recommend it. It was great. Noel and Claire had to try on our glasses. Maybe we should have recycled them, but our kids are obsessed with glasses and are always trying to steal mine and Aaron's. They love having some play glasses just for them.

We started my birthday off with a hike at Dreamy Draw park. The kids are both old enough to enjoy walking on the paths on their own - even though at some points we had to carry them. It was a nice 30 minute hike. It probably would have taken 15 minutes without them, but it was such a nice day and it was fun to see the kids enjoy it so much.

Aaron watched the kids for me so I could go shopping here and tried really hard to do all the housework all day. It was a very nice birthday present! In the evening we ended up having a family over from our ward for some cake and ice cream and we played Beatles Rock band. It was a very lovely day!

Ballerina Rockstar

Claire started dance class yesterday. She LOVED it!

She just looked so cute in her leotard, tights, and ballet shoes. Her teacher asked that parents wait outside, but we could peek in and see them dancing in a circle, twirling and dancing with scarves and practicing ballet leaping. It was awesome.

The rest of her time is spent trying to be a guitar star on guitar hero or rockband. We are loving our wii that we bought with some of our tax refund money. We got it used and got a ton of used games and accessories so we can play all kind of games - including Beatles Rockband which Aaron and I have been coveting since we heard about it coming out. It is just so much fun!
