Birthday week-end

On Saturday, I began my 36th year... err... I mean my 30th again... yeah... that's better.

Some good friends of ours watched the kiddos Friday night so that we could go to a movie. We saw Alice in Wonderland in 3-D. I highly recommend it. It was great. Noel and Claire had to try on our glasses. Maybe we should have recycled them, but our kids are obsessed with glasses and are always trying to steal mine and Aaron's. They love having some play glasses just for them.

We started my birthday off with a hike at Dreamy Draw park. The kids are both old enough to enjoy walking on the paths on their own - even though at some points we had to carry them. It was a nice 30 minute hike. It probably would have taken 15 minutes without them, but it was such a nice day and it was fun to see the kids enjoy it so much.

Aaron watched the kids for me so I could go shopping here and tried really hard to do all the housework all day. It was a very nice birthday present! In the evening we ended up having a family over from our ward for some cake and ice cream and we played Beatles Rock band. It was a very lovely day!
