Day Out With Thomas

The kids meet Sir Topham Hatt

Yesterday we took the kids on a scenic drive out to Globe, AZ and went to Day Out with Thomas. This was the only one even close to us. Tickets were expensive, but since we don't have the money for Disney or anything like that, we thought that this would be a nice consolation. The kids had a blast. They love Thomas movies (thanks to Netflix) and books and were so excited about the trip.

We couldn't pull Noel away from the train table area, as usual. They had about 5 tables set up, but this one was his favorite.

At lunchtime we listened to band that played fun and rockin' kids music. After the concert they let the kids play the drum set. Claire really got into it.

This video shows a bit of what the train ride was like and what the kids thought.

If you have kids that are ages three and four. This is a really fun way to spend a day. Our kids loved it and Aaron and I enjoyed it too. (some cons: Expensive - no one gets in free except babies, the pics they take of your kids with Thomas and Sir Topham Hat are outrageously expensive, so if you wait in line, make sure you take your own too.)
